About Helen Ross
Dr. Helen Ross is a specialist in thoracic medical oncology, with a focus on the multidisciplinary management of patients with lung cancer, mesothelioma, and other unusual cancers of the chest, as well as head and neck cancers.
She believes in providing comprehensive care that includes multimodality therapy in conjunction with experts in radiation oncology, thoracic and head and neck surgery, pulmonary medicine, interventional radiology, palliative medicine, integrative medicine, and supportive services. Dr. Ross also places a strong emphasis on providing access to state-of-the-art clinical trials as part of a comprehensive plan of care.
Dr. Ross is a medical oncologist with expertise in the treatment of thoracic malignancies, including lung cancer and mesothelioma. She received her medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and completed her residency in internal medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. She then went on to complete a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Ross is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the faculty at the University of California, Los Angeles, where she specializes in the multidisciplinary management of patients with thoracic malignancies and provides access to state-of-the-art clinical trials as part of a comprehensive plan of care.
