Dr. Tirrell Johnson is a medical oncologist at the Orlando Health Cancer Institute, where he specializes in the treatment of thoracic and head and neck cancers. He is board-certified in medical oncology and internal medicine, and is a member of the Hematology, Melanoma/Sarcoma, and Thoracic/Head and Neck Cancers Specialty Sections.

Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from the University of Florida, and completed a residency in internal medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. He then went on to complete a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Brown University Medical School's teaching hospitals in Providence, RI.

Throughout his career, Dr. Johnson has been actively involved in medical research, serving as the primary investigator for several forms of chemotherapy for advanced head and neck cancers and thoracic malignancies. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and American Society of Hematology.
