About Boris Sepesi

Dr. Boris Sepesi is an Associate Professor at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery. He earned his medical degree from Jagiellonian University Medical College in Krakow, Poland and completed his internship and residency in general surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.

Dr. Sepesi has a clinical focus on thoracic and upper gastrointestinal malignancies, utilizing a range of surgical therapies and utilizing multidisciplinary approaches. His research interests focus on therapy outcomes and translational research in esophageal and lung cancers. Dr. Sepesi is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is active in various medical organizations and committees.
