Dr. Linda Garland is a thoracic medical oncologist with a specialty in treating lung cancer and mesothelioma. She received her medical education from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1988 and completed her internship there the same year. She then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at the University of South Florida, followed by a fellowship in hematology/oncology at the same institution.

Dr. Garland is board certified in medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She currently practices at the University of Arizona Cancer Center located at 3838 North Campbell Avenue in Tucson, Arizona and can be reached at 520-694-2873.
