About Mark Dylewski

Dr. Mark Dylewski is a thoracic and robotic surgeon at Miami Cancer Institute, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. He graduated from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed residencies at the University of California Davis-East Bay and the University of Albany Medical Center.

He is an expert in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, Board-certified in general surgery and thoracic surgery. He is one of the country's pioneers in the area of robotic pulmonary and esophageal surgery and developed the complete port access robotic-assisted technique using the da Vinci robot to perform pulmonary and esophageal surgery without spreading the ribs, an innovative procedure that is being adopted by other surgeons.

His research and clinical results have been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He speaks at national and international conferences on minimally invasive robotic techniques for the treatment of intrathoracic disease. He is a founding member of the Clinical Robotic Surgical Association and a member of the American College of Surgeons, General Thoracic Surgical Club and Society of Thoracic Surgery.
