About Mecker Moller
Dr. Mecker Moller is a highly-skilled surgical oncologist with a specialization in the treatment of malignant melanomas, Merkel cell carcinomas, sarcomas/desmoid tumors, breast cancer, and advanced peritoneal gastrointestinal tumors such as stomach, mesothelioma, appendiceal, and colon cancer.
She leads the cytoreductive surgery and hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) program at the University of Miami and is recognized as a national expert in the field. Dr. Moller also specializes in intralesional oncolytic therapies, experimental therapies with electroporation and immunotherapy, and limb infusion for limb preservation for advanced non-resectable melanoma with regional spread.
She is involved in several national and international clinical trials and research projects in melanoma and peritoneal malignancies and serves as the Associate Program Director for the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship program at University of Miami. Dr. Moller received her medical degree from University College Cork Ireland School of Medicine and completed her residency and fellowship training at various institutions, including the University of South Florida - Moffitt Cancer Center and Michigan State University Grand Rapids Med Ed & Research Center.
