About Prakash Neupane

Dr. Prakash Neupane is a medical oncologist with expertise in head and neck and thoracic oncology. He serves as the Director of the Hematology-Oncology Fellowship and Co-Chair of the Head and Neck Disease Working Group. His area of research is clinical research in head and neck oncology.

He has several years of experience in general hematology-oncology practice in a small community hospital, and is actively working as a co-chair of the Head and Neck Cancer Disease Working Group. Dr. Neupane is open to collaborations with translational researchers and industry for innovative clinical research in head and neck cancer.

Dr. Neupane received his MBBS from Tribhuvan University in Kathmandu, Nepal, completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Barnabas Hospital-Affiliated with NY Hospital/Cornell in Bronx, NY and a Clinical Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center- Shreveport in Shreveport, LA.

He holds a Kansas Medical license from Kansas State Board of Healing Arts, Missouri Board of Healing Arts, American Board of Hematology and American Board of Medical Oncology.
