Dr. Yanyan Lou is an internist and oncologist at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida. She specializes in thoracic oncology, including the treatment of lung cancer and mesothelioma. She is a part of the Lung Cancer Program and Head and Neck Cancer Center at Mayo Clinic. She uses immunotherapy and targeted drug therapy to treat her patients.

Dr. Lou completed her clinical fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2015 and her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 2012. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.

She has received several awards for her work, including the Paul Calabresi Career Development Award for Clinical Oncology and the Eveleigh Family Career Development Award. She is an active member of the Mayo Clinic NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center and a committee member of the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology.
